Synthetic diamonds are on the rise. With the SMARTPRO brand, ERNST & FRIENDS exclusively offers gemological testing equipment to distinguish between natural and man-made diamonds.
The portable SMARTPRO OPTIMUM (no. 2855) identifies natural and synthetic diamonds as well as synthetic moissanites between 0.015 to 10 ct. colorless to faint yellow (D-M). The SMARTPRO AURA (no. 2856) can analyze entire lots. It scans loose and set stones, identifies diamonds, CVD and HPHT, cubic zirconia (CZ) and synthetic moissanite, colorless to faint yellow (D-K).
Another highlight is the new SMARTPRO AIRDO (no. 3340, 3341), a compact all-in-one device for setting and engraving work. The "AIR DO S" and "AIR DO X" series are equipped with an integrated whisper-quiet 40 bar compressor. The "AIR DO X" takes this to the next level with a built-in 35,000 rpm micromotor.
