About us
Our business line Electroplating develops products for electroplating (precious metal) for the highest demands for both technical and decorative applications.
Our decorative processes fulfil the needs and wishes for a (precious) metal surface that is not only visually high-quality. Decide on the colour, gloss and reflection of your product, but also on its haptics and abrasion resistance - and thus on its value and elegance in the view of the end user. Of course, we always keep an eye on current trends and price developments for individual raw materials. In this way, we can offer you modern processes that are as cost-efficient as possible in the following segments, for example.
Give your product the decisive advantage - a perfect surface through electroplating.

Products & Services
Are you looking for electrolytes for the surfaces of costume and luxury jewellery? Brilliant sparkling finishing layers are popular worldwide – we serve you with a carefully arranged variety of electrolytes for noble surfaces, by the way, also for timepieces.
Cost-savin alternatives to rhodium and palladium layers
The prices for rhodium and palladium have exploded over the last few years along with production costs. In order to be able to continue to serve the market, a rethink in surface plating is required. Alloys represent a way out for both decorative and technical applications, with almost no compromise in quality and appearance. On the contrary - through innovative processes, we have succeeded in improving properties such as abrasion resistance or adapting colour composition as required.
AURUNA® 215 Pale Gold Iron Indium Electrolyte
AURUNA® 215 Pale is a colour gold alloy electrolyte for decorative applications, preferably for parts coming into contact with the skin such as jewelry and watches. The essential advantage of the coatings is their freedom from nickel and cobalt, excluding skin allergies caused by these metals.
The process has already been proven for many years. By changing the parameters, we can now also achieve a pale yellow color (1N). It is easy to operate and suitable for rack and barrel.
Electroforming as a Service - Gold & Platinum Series Production
In the field of electroforming, we combine our expertise in developing high-quality electrolytes with the ability to apply them effectively in practical settings. This has made us an experienced partner for our customers for decades – from consultation through implementation and even beyond.
We are now taking it a step further and offering electroforming (also known as electroplating or EF) as a service – from the activation of the cores (also known as models, blanks or mandrels) through the desired deposition process to the removal of the cores. For our customers, this means: Gold and platinum applications can now be reliably produced in series by their electroforming specialists – with no volume restrictions and at a price-performance ratio that is likely unmatched thanks to the bundling of resources.
PLATUNA® PT Platinum Electrolyte
Pure platinum electrolyte without yellow tint
The strongly acidic PLATUNA® PT platinum electrolyte is used to deposit smooth, crack-free platinum coatings up to a layer thickness of 5 μm. The deposited layers are characterized by a brilliant luster and, in contrast to conventional platinum coatings, do not exhibit a yellow tint.
Furthermore, the electrolyte has a low sulfuric acid content and is therefore less aggressive to the coating substrate. The deposition rate is independent of the current density, which leads to an optimum layer thickness distribution. No precipitation occurs and the platinum concentrate does not have to be stored in the refrigerator.
