AUGUST MAYER was founded in 1907 as a lapidary company. Heinz-Ulrich Mayer, owner in 4th generation manages the company with a small team of gemstone experts. Close relationships to miners all over the world enable us to secure top rough gemstones which will then be cut with German cutting expertise. Every stone maximized in its natural beauty.
The name AUGUST MAYER stands for superior quality, fair trade practices and ethical behaviour. The company is a member of the German Diamond and Gemstone Association and the German Gemmological Society (DGemG).
